  • State the terms and definitions of fetal heart rate patterns as per the National Institutes of Health Consensus Group document.
  • Recognize recurrent late decelerations, recurrent severe variable decelerations, and the sinusoidal heart rate pattern.
  • Correlate critical fetal heart rate patterns with related maternal fetal physiology.
  • List appropriate interventions based on interpretation pattern.
